Red foxes

WALT: Write about an information report about a mammal.

The Red Fox is one of the seven species of foxes.They are related to dogs.They actually came from North America and Europe.
Here is some more information about them.

The Red Foxes habitat belongs in the Grasslands, Deserts, Mountains,Forests, Suburban areas.
They are not really endangered. There are still lots in the wild.
Because we still hunt them but they are still not endangered.

Babies life cycle:
The male Fox and the female fox will mate.
The female Fox will make 1 to 10 kits after mating.The female fox will
dig dens while the male fox will find some food.

The red fox’s diet: for a diet, red foxes can eat berries, grasses and fruit.Foxes can eat fish or seafood, squirrels, birds and other animals.

The red fox can change white in snowy winters to keep safe from predators in the snow.In the summer and spring, the red fox’s fur is
dirt brown to camouflage with the dirt or trees.

The Red Foxes hunt anytime, especially at night
because some foxes are nocturnal. They start off by stalking or
following their prey. When their prey stops, they pounce when it’s time
Foxes aren’t dangerous to people but some are because they are rabid.
