Marae Trip

A few days ago, we went to the Marae. We rode the bus to the Marae at Unitec. We were welcomed and someone at the door welcomed us with a Waiata. Then the school council did the Hongi with the members of the Marae. After that, they told us a story about a man that rode to New Zealand on a stingray. After that, we had morning tea and it was delicious. Then they taught us a dance. And after that, we performed the Haka. Next, we went back to school. We were sad because the trip had to end.
